The Baden Davis Crane Connection was formed in 2010 when the opportunity for Anthony Davis and Ben Baden to go into business together arose. “We had worked together with Bens Father (Gerhard) who taught us about the crane business and how to run a successful sales, service and repair facility. With this knowledge and experience we will continue to provide our future customers with the same level of service”.
Spare Parts
Ben Baden Services carries at a minimum the Link-Belt recommended spare parts list for every crane brought into the country by us. The inventory is growing as the need arises.
If the situation occurs where we do not have the part in stock we are able to draw on Link-Belts vast parts inventory which has on average the ability to fulfil 93% of parts requests from their own stock.

Ben Baden Services and The Baden Davis Crane Connection are located on a 14000m2 property with adjoining vacant land for expansion when required.
Main workshop 1500m2
the main workshop is a purpose-built crane facility which features large bays with a 14m height. The 15 tonne overhead crane is ideal for boom and superstructure removal.
Fabrication shop 1000m2
the purpose-built fabrication shop is equipped with a 25 tonne overhead crane with walls which are sound insulated for fabricators comfort. The 14m height of the fabrication shop is essential for water tanks and crane repair overflow.
Paint shop 24m x 9m x 8m high
our paint shop is an essential tool which gives us a huge time saving advantage when it comes to painting either new Link-Belt cranes or repainting cranes after repair or rebuild.

Ben Baden Services is the number one accident damage and structural repair facility in the country and this is proven by the fact that we are the preferred repairer for the main crane insurance companies in the country. Our structural steel welders are being constantly re trained and recertified and most recently underwent training to be I.S.O certified to weld fine grain quenched and tempered high strength steel. We source our materials from the same place the manufacturers do and all of our structural repairs are independently weld tested, overload tested and certified.
We specialize in telescopic boom section repair and re fabrication and also lattice boom repair and re fabrication. The repair is then repainted in our facility and delivered back to you in like new condition.
We do all makes and models of structural repair and re fabrication and you will often find us a faster and more economical alternative to the manufacturer, for the exact same quality!!!

10 & 25yr inspections
Ben Baden Services carries out a large number of major inspections to the Australian Standard on the East coast and this has given us good experience in minimising the time periods to carry out one of these inspections. We can come out to you and carry out an inspection to give more accurate ideas on cost and time to complete. We have carried out many inspections on pick and carry cranes, Japanese truck cranes and European mobile cranes up to and including the larger all terrain cranes. Ben Baden Services prides itself on the highest quality workmanship which is what is required on such large scale projects. You can rest assured that we will do a thorough major inspection on your crane without doing any unnecessary costly works and will get the crane back to you in around 4 weeks up to 90% of the time!!!
